When I hear the belief statement “we believe in working with an unlimited budget and doing whatever it takes” I really like to focus in on the whatever it takes. Yes, we have an unlimited budget – Randy empowers us with that. But doing whatever it takes goes beyond money.

When I’m working with a customer, I’ll do whatever it takes to make that client happy, and that takes many different forms. Sometimes that means giving them a hand around the house or helping with something completely unrelated to air conditioning and heating.

Doing whatever it takes could mean sitting down at a table and talking with somebody who maybe doesn’t get many visitors. Nothing more may come of that experience than just talking with them, but in that situation, that was doing whatever it takes.

Whatever it takes also takes the form of our 100% satisfaction guarantees. We have what’s called the Golden Rule Guarantee. Basically, if a client decides within a year that they’re not satisfied with the performance of a new system that we recommended and installed, we’re going to do everything we can, up to removing the system and providing a complete refund.

I’ve only seen it done one time. We uninstalled and re-installed the unit two or three different times. And when we still weren’t able to satisfy the customer, they did get a refund in full for that installation. But it wasn’t for lack of trying. We kept our promise.
